In 2005, Barry realized The Brush’s End’s remodeling business was increasing exponentially each year, and that he really enjoyed the process of helping customers to envision, design and create the bathrooms they always wanted. He loved being presented with a challenge (i.e. a 1940s bathroom severely in need of updating, or an awkward or crowded layout in need of redesign) and relaying possible solutions, products and designs based on the customers’ needs, desires and budgets.
Meanwhile, Warren Heit, Barry’s longtime friend and business associate was seeking similar challenges and fulfillment in the industry. After managing his Westchester County based company, S&W for 35 years, he developed an interest in the opportunity to offer his clients more personalized full-scale remodeling services.
With the right resources in place – more than 50 nationwide suppliers for fixtures and accessories, skilled craftsmen and associate partners to perform plumbing and electrical work, and one organization to supervise it all – Simply Baths was born. Barry and Warren joined talent and forces in 2007 to introduce this new division of The Brush’s End and S&W devoted strictly to bathroom remodeling. Recently in 2007, The Brush’s End opened a second location - a 2,600 square foot retail showroom featuring Simply Baths and Showcase Kitchens by The Brush’s End. The showroom offers a wide sampling of the bathroom and kitchen products and design options that the company provides.
